The Elizabeth Carr Memorial Fund, a donor-advised fund of the Community Foundation of the Chesapeake, Inc., was established to honor the gentle spirit of Elizabeth Carr, who died in 2003 from childhood cancer. The fund provides grants to local organizations that focus on pediatric cancer issues, including research, awareness and direct assistance to families.
