Elizabeth is the inspiration for "Paws in the Park." A true animal lover, Elizabeth was at her happiest when surrounded by her family and her pets. "Paws in the Park" is an event that brings both together to raise money for organizations committed to battling childhood cancer-the disease that Elizabeth fought so courageously.

Please join us by supporting the 4th annual "Paws in the Park" Dog Walk on September 9, 2007 at Kinder Farm Park, Millersville, MD. All proceeds will benefit the Elizabeth Carr Memorial Fund.

Everyone is welcome, even if you do not have a dog. Registration and pledge forms can be obtained by clicking here. The registration fee is $30 per family and $25 per individual. The walk is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m at the Black Oak Pavilion. If you did not have a chance to preregister, or would like to turn in your final pledge forms, there will be a registration table set up at 10:00 a.m. under the Black Oak Pavilion.

Every registered family will be eligible for raffle prizes. Some of the activities we have scheduled after the walk include:

Silent Auction
50/50
Fly Ball Dog Show
Free Food & Games
Dunking Booth
Lacrosse Target
Face Painting
Football Toss
Cake Walk
Kids Games

The Elizabeth Carr Memorial Fund would also like to remember and honor the special children who are battling or have lost their battle with childhood cancer by placing "Faces of Childhood Cancer" throughout Kinder Park during our Paws in the Park Dog Walk. Help us raise awareness and honor our heroes by sharing your stories. Please mail us a picture or pictures with any information or stories you would like to include to:
