Elizabeth is the inspiration for "Paws in the Park." A true animal lover, Elizabeth was at her happiest when surrounded by her family and her pets. "Paws in the Park" is an event that brings both together to raise money for organizations committed to battling childhood cancer-the disease that Elizabeth fought so courageously.

We want to thank everyone for coming out to Kinder Park on Sunday, September 9, 2007, and making the 4th annual "Paws in the Park" dog walk such a success. Over 250 people, some with and some without pets, walked over 2.3 miles to raise money for the Elizabeth Carr Memorial Fund.

This year, with all of your help, we were able to raise over $14000 for the Elizabeth Carr Memorial Fund. We know that this would not be possible, if it were not for the generosity of our family, friends, sponsors and our community.
